Meter run

A meter run or meter tube is an assembly consisting of an orifice plate with flanges and calibrated upstream and downstream pipes. Since the meter tube is manufactured as one unit, it is possible to optimally match all components with each other.

A meter run is supplied as the complete unit of usually a one meter length to make sure the necessary straight pipe lengths achieve the highest possible efficiency. It used for measuring small flow rates specifically where the high accuracy of the flow rates is required.

It is designed and manufactured carefully to achieve an optimum flow metering uncertainty and ensure that the installation of adjacent pipework, orifice plate and tappings is flexible. The meter run is designed to provide maximum accuracy of meter by keeping the flow smooth in downstream and upstream.
